 Announcement of the Search for the Dean

National Taiwan University Announces a Call for Applications and Nominations for the Position of Dean of the College of Liberal Arts

一、茲依據「國立臺灣大學文學院院長選任辦法」、「國立臺灣大學文學院院長選任作業準則」，及本會第1次會議決議，公開徵求新任院長候選人。

Based on the Regulations Governing the Election of the Dean of the College of Liberal Arts, the Procedural Standards for the Election of the Dean of the College of Liberal Arts, and the resolution adopted at the first meeting of this Committee, we hereby announce the public search for candidates for the position of Dean.

二、院長之任期為3年﹙自民國115年8月1日起聘﹚，連選得連任1次。

The Dean’s term of appointment is three years, beginning on August 1, 2026, and the Dean may be reelected for a second term.

三、院長候選人應具備下列條件：

Candidates for the position of Dean must meet the following criteria:

（一）與本院領域相關之正教授。

The candidate must be a full professor in a field relevant to the College.

（二）應有前瞻性教育理念、學術成就卓著、品德端正、行政及溝通能力良好。

  The candidate must demonstrate educational vision, scholarly excellence, personal integrity, and strong administrative and communication skills.

（三）本校專任教師最近一次評鑑不通過者不得擔任院長候選人。

NTU candidates are required to have passed the latest Faculty Review.

四、院長候選人由下列方式之一產生：

Candidates for Dean may be nominated through one of the following methods:

（一）本委員會委員主動推薦。Nomination by members of this Committee.

（二）他人推薦。（請檢附「國立臺灣大學文學院院長候選人推薦表」、「國立

臺灣大學文學院院長候選人資料表」及重要著作等相關資料）

Nomination by others (Nominators shall send this Committee a Nomination Form for Candidates for Dean of the College of Liberal Arts, National Taiwan University, a Data Form for Candidates for Dean of the College of Liberal Arts, National Taiwan University, copies of major publications, and other relevant materials.)

（三）自行申請。(請檢附「國立臺灣大學文學院院長候選人資料表」、「自我

推薦信函」及重要著作等相關資料)

Self-Nomination (Self-nominated applicants shall submit to this Committee a Data Form for Candidates for Dean of the College of Liberal Arts, National Taiwan University, a cover letter, copies of significant publications, and other relevant materials.)

五、凡有意推薦者或申請者，請至臺大文學院網頁（http://liberal.ntu.edu.tw）「文學院院長選任專區」下載相關法規及資料表，並予填寫，於民國115年4月22日前（以郵戳為憑）將所有資料送交或以限時掛號寄達「國立臺灣大學文學院院長選任委員會」，逾期恕不受理。

Interested parties may visit the “College Dean Search” section of the NTU College of Liberal Arts website (http://liberal.ntu.edu.tw) to obtain the relevant forms and regulations. All materials should be submitted to the Dean Search Committee, College of Liberal Arts, National Taiwan University, either by registered express mail or by hand, no later than April 22, 2026 (postmarked). Late submissions will not be considered.
